Shield Purpure, a church Or masoned Sable with port and windows Sable, accompanied by three cut stems Argent emphasised Sable, two in chief and one in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) (commune rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "FRADELOS - BRAGA".
Meaning:
The church is representing the local parish church. The word "fradelos" might be construed as the plural form of a dialectal hypochoristic of "frade" (= "friar"); the church on the arms might therefore be canting.
