Blazon: I blått tre stående sølv ryper, to over en. In English: Azure three grouses argent.
Approved by the royal resolution of 3 February 1984 after a drawing by Einar H. Skjervold. [c2j87]
It is explained that grouse was chosen as it was an important source of nourishment "in the old days".
