The Islamic University of Lebanon (IUL), established by Decree No. 8,600 issued on 12 June 1996, is a nonprofit private institution affiliated to the Supreme Islamic Shii Council.
The IUL is composed of nine Faculties. It has four campuses located in Khaldeh, Wardanieh, Tyre and Baalbek.
