Located in Nerima City Tokyo and established in 1949.
The embroidered ceremonial flag has purple background with a gold emblem and horizontally written gold kanji university name in gold fringe.
The university flag has dark green background with a white emblem and white kanji university name written horizontally.
The university emblem, a white pheasant, is based on the emblem of the former Musashi High School, and was designed by Ikujiro Ichiki (second son of the first principal of Musashi High School), a student of the Tokyo Fine Arts School, in the shape of two pheasants surrounding the two Chinese characters 武高. This is due to the description in Shoku-nihon-ki that a white pheasant was presented from Musashi Province.
