The flag of the city of Aso is white with symbol.

The city emblem and the flag were adopted on Feb 11th 2005 by Notice No 1 and No 2. The white flag has a green, a blue and an orange three color city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized AS. It represents the god of fire's green land, the city's magnetic, vigor and prosperity and development.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 2/3 height of the flag.
