The town emblem was adopted on May 7th 1983 by Notice No 13
but there is no flag law.
The blue flag has a white town emblem in the center.
The town emblem is a stylized kanji 玄 Gen and katakana カイ Kai.
It represents a reconciliation and a solidarity of the town people and a surge
and a development for the future.
