The city emblem was adopted on Mar 1st 1957 but there is no flag law. The white flag has a purple city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana ツシマ Tsushima. The outer circle symbolizes a peace, a  collaboration and an integration. The center triangle stands for the city’s development and a rapid progress.
