The flag of the city of Kitaibaraki is blue with mark.

The city emblem was adopted on Aug 10th 1956 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 北 Kita of Kitaibaraki. It represents a strong solidarity of the citizen and an exponential development of the city.
