I drew the club ensign with an approximation of the
shield provided by Peter. I have not
seen an actual ensign, thus the relative sizes and positions may be different
from those I chose.

Malahide Yacht Club
Established 1958
Located 16 km north of Dublin.
"The Club burgee is black, with a gold cross superimposed on a diamond at the
centre. The authorised ensign of the Club is an Irish white ensign, defaced by a
shield bearing the Club emblem." Club Rule #2

The website of the MYC is currently at
http://www.myc.ie. It shows in its header the burgee as described above. On
its
Sea Scouts page a photograph includes
an actual
specimen. My
drawing, however, is based on
http://www.myc.ie/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Large_W_MYCBurgee.png. I
make it a 2:3 triangular burgee, with a gold diamond with height and with
1/3rd of the hoist, centred on a line half the hoist away from the hoist, and
centred on the same point a golden cross with arms 1/12th of the hoist wide.
