Shield Sable with base Or a lion rampant of the same.
Meaning:
Schöneck became a part of the Electorate of Sachsen in 1569. The pattern of the arms was first seen on a local seal from 1700. The lion is that one of the Reeves of Plauen. The yellow base is a distinguishing mark.
