Shield Vert a bend wavy Argent.
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as the bend wavy is the representation of a creek (German: Bach) and the green colour (German: Grün or Grön) is referring to the name of the town, which means "green creek". The green field had had a golden damascene, which was omitted sometimes after 1854.

The banner was approved in 1936 by governor (Reichsstatthalter) of Bayern. The arms were granted on 26 January 1838 by King Ludwig I of Bayern.
