Shield parted by a barrulet Argent, above Gules a goose trippant rising Argent, armed and torqued Or, beneath Gules semy of linden leaves Argent an urn Or in centre.
Meaning:
The rising goose is taken from the family arms of the "Gans Edlen Herren zu Putlitz", which is hardly to translate, literally the "completely noble lords of Putlitz", but note that in German "Gans" (= goose) has the same pronounciation as "Ganz" (= complete). The Putlitz kin together with the Bishops of Havelberg played in important rule by implementing Christianity and German colonisation in the area in the 12th century.
