Schönewalde Coat of Arms

Shield Argent, a linden Vert on top of a mount of the same and issuant from base, and between two S-shaped flanches Or.
Meaning:
Until 2002 the flanches were not part of the arms. The linden is a canting element, as the name of the municipality means "beautiful wood".
