 Here is description of the logo:
1. The Sails; 
  represents Captain Robert Abram Bartlett.
2. The Sailing Ship; represents 
  the people of Brigus who went to Labrador to fish each summer.
3. The Seal 
  and Crossed Harpoons; represents the sealing industry in Brigus and those who 
  risked their lives on the ice flows each year.
4. The Split Fish; 
  represents the fishing industry which is still on going in Brigus.
