The municipality of Tręs Arroios (2,873 inhabitants in 2015; 14,858 ha) is
located 400 km north of Porto Alegre.
The municipality is named for the three
streams ("tręs arroios") that water tits territory.

The flag of Tręs Arroios is blue, divided by a broad white diagonal running
from upper hoist to lower flay and charged in the center with the municipal coat
of arms.
