The flag

The Higuayagua Tribe flag consists of our logo. The upper figure is Guabamcex, Spirit of all waters and storms. She brings destruction which in turn leads to rebirth. On her left side is an H which represents Haiti/ kiskeya. On her right is the rising sun which represents Boriken. Academically we know that our ancestors rose from the Chican culture area which is between Mayaguez and Higuey. The logo is encased within a circle which represents the cycle of life. Orbiting our logo are petroglyphs from each of the islands/ countries where our members have family From the top right -CLOCK WISE PELICAN= BORIKEN TURTLE SHELL= CURAZAO SPIKE HAIRED SPIRIT- GUYANA TREE SPIRIT =ARUBA FEMALE FIGURE = JAMAICA SHARK BEING= CUBA FROG BEING =: '-HAITI MEDICINE BEING= KISKEYA. Yellow coloring is for the sunrise. Red colors are for the blood of our people, past, present and future and wherever they maybe find themselves across the 4 sacred directions. https://www.pixwox.com/post/6866653756657014432134/
