The flag of Isle of Wight County can be seen in photographs of the 2016 Virginia Association of Counties (VACo) annual conference. The flag features the county seal centered on a white field with a thin light blue inner border around the entire field. The words "Isle of Wight County" appear arched above the seal in red serif letters, with the word "Virginia" arched below in similar lettering. The seal is in the form of a stylized shield from a coat of arms. The field of the arms is in the same shade of light blue as the flag's inner border, and displays a white silhouette of the county, with images of a church, a schoolhouse, a peanut, a ham, and a pine tree. The shield has gold mantling above bearing the name of the county in black capital letters, with the name of the state and the year of founding in black letters in the same gold mantling below.
