Description of the flag

Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, uses white flag with town seal on it. Due to the cost of silk screening, there are fewer colors in the flag than of those depicted on the color seal", inform me Louis P. Cirillo, CMC, Town Clerk, Town of Bristol.
However, I received full color seal, and can't possibly know what colors are not used on the flag. Therefore the image above uses all colors until we find some photo or other evidence.

Bristol RI has been heavily influenced by the arms of the 'original' Bristol, England. The ship at dexter, the crest and the motto all reflect the arms of Bristol, England.
