Description of the flag

The flag is a greenish field and in the center is a scene showing the shoreline on Lake Superior, which shows a cargo ship on the lake and a forest with a deer on the shoreline. Above the lake is the Upper Peninsula with a gold star for the township's location, and the establishment year above it. Arched over the scene is the township's name, and underneath is the county and state names.
