Lowry Air Force Base (Lowry Field 1938-1948) is Formerly Used Defense Site B08CO0505 that was a USAAF training base during World War II and a USAF training base during the Cold War, serving as the initial 1955-8 site of the U.S. Air
Force Academy. Most of the base is now the Lowry, Denver, neighborhood with 2 hangars used for the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, another hangar for the Big Bear Ice Rink, a dormitory for the Logan School for Creative Learning, and base housing for the Stanley British Primary School.
On August 11 I saw the flag of Lowry Air Force Base (located in Denver, Colorado). It is a white horizontal flag with the cockade (military roundel) in the middle (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_aircraft_insignia#mediaviewer/File:USAAC_Roundel_1919-1941.svg) and the name "LOWRY" in blue, as seen here:

I saw this flag at the Lowry Air Force Base in Aurora in Colorado. And yes, that is a tiny mushroom cloud in the lower right of the shield.
