Flag of Küre

The flag of Küre (photo) is white with the municipality's emblem. "Belediyesi" means "Municipality".
The emblem features the Akşemsettin mosque, owned by the Akşemsettin Foundation. The mosque was built in 1473 by Hoca Şemseddin, the treasurer of Sultan Mehmed II the Conqueror. The sequined rubble stone mosque is covered with four main stands, three main domes and six side vaults. The glass is covered with lead.
