The County previously used a coat of arms adopted on 23.07.2008, and flag
adopted on 23.09.2008.
Coat of arms:
The coat of arms is a rectangular
heraldic shield with rounded lower corners and a pointed tip (blue at the top,
green at the bottom), divided by a red stripe running from left to right. The
lower portion of the coat of arms schematically depicts ears of wheat,
symbolizing the development of agriculture in the district as a priority
industry. The upper portion features a crane taking flight, symbolizing
movement, development, and peace, as well as the presence of a nature reserve
within the district. The red stripe represents the state border.
Flag:
A rectangular cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, blue at the
top and green at the bottom, divided by a red stripe running from left to right
upwards. In the upper left corner of the cloth is a crane taking flight, and in
the lower right are ears of wheat.
