Shimanovskiy County became Shimanovskiy Municipal District in 2022. Its symbols were adopted on 18.09.2015.
A rectangular double-sided cloth with a width-to-length ratio of 2:3, reproducing the image of figures from the coat of arms, made in green, blue, yellow, orange, black and gray.

In a green field - azure, thinly bordered with gold narrow edges and above them - a golden sunflower with black seeds protruding into the ends; at the top, everything is accompanied by three stars of the same metal, with eight rays each, in a row.
