Coat of arms

Shield Azure, a castle Or, masoned Sable, with port and windows Gules, having two embattled towers, crowned by a sinister-facing lion rampant Or, each tower crowned by a raven Sable, in chief a flail of Sable and Gules and a rake Sable in saltire, in base two branches Vert set in orle. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "LOUREDO - SANTA MARIA DA FEIRA".
Meaning:
The ravens might be attributes of St. Vincent. (like in arms of e.g. Lisboa)

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a plain yellow field.

Coat of arms

Shield Vert, a paly crozier Argent, flanked by two lions passant, respectant Or, in orle 14 corn cobs Or leaved Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "GUISANDE - SANTA MARIA DA FEIRA".
Meaning:
The green colour is symbolizing the rural character of the commune and its environmental purity. The 14 corn cobs a re representing the 14 settlement cores of the commune. Crozier and lions are attributes of St. Mamede, the local patron saint.
