Shield Azure, a triplemount Argent issuant from a base wavy of Vert and Argent, upon the peaks a lion rampant Or holding in his forepaws parts of a broken chain Sable. Mural crown with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "VILA DE MONCARAPACHO".
Meaning:
The lion with chain is a differentiation of that one from the municipal arms.

Moncarapacho is one of the five communes of Olhão Municipality. It had 7 717 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 75,19 km².
