Aboadela, Sanche e Várzea United Commune

It is a white flag with centred arms. Of the arms recognizable are just the red background and a mural crown Argent with three visible towers.

Commune is one of the 26 communes of Amarante Municipality; it was built in 2013, when three former communes merged; its former communes had 1675 inhabitants together in 2011 and it covers 30.5 km².

It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered of green and yellow.

Shield Or with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a triplemount Vert, superimposed by throughout bridge Argent masoned Sable, having four arches and also issuant from base, over all in chief a sheep passant passant Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll (Bénard Guedes style) with inscription in black capitals "ABOADELA".
