Surugadai University is a private university in Hanno, Saitama, and it was established in 1987. The flag displayed here is their logo flag; this flag and a flag with their university badge is in use. The logo was created in November 2006 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the university's founding. The logo is supposed to express the desire of the university to "educate and help students take flight into the world" upon graduation.
