The city emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1918 but there is no flag law. The blue flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 大 O of Ogaki in a form of persimmon hull since long time ago the city was called Ogaki 大柿＝a large persimmon.
