Presentation of Digne

Digne (c. 16,000 inhabitants) is the préfecture of the department of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The town is located on the river Bléone, on the bottom of the Préalpes de Digne mountains. Digne is the main center of lavender production in France.

Flag of Digne

The flag of Digne is blue with a yellow fleur-de-lis in the middle of the flag, flanked by two mirrored yellow L letters. A red Greek cross is placed above the fleur-de-lis and a yellow D letter below the fleur-de-lis.
