The symbols of the CICCP are prescribed in the college's Statutes (text), last amended on 10 October 2003, as follows:

Article 1.6. The badge of the College is made up of a [stone] bridge over a channel, with an anchor crossed bearing a chain, the whole surrounded by two branches, one of palm and one of oak, bound at the bottom and separate at the top.
Article 1.7. The flag of the College is purple, rectangular with a vertical:horizontal proportion of two to three, and bears on its center the badge described in the previous paragraph.

The symbolism of the badge follows closely the traditional Spanish style for civil engineers, "Engineers of Roads, Canals and Ports". The actual shade of purple used on flags is very bluish, as can be seen in flags used at CICCP events. On these flags the bridge is brown, not grey as on the stand-alone badge.
