The flag is described as follows:

Flag: Rectangular panel, twice longer than wide, green with a yellow triangle along the hoist. Charged in the center with the coat of arms of the municipality.
Coat of arms: Or in base rocks vert [brown on the flag] surmounted by an eagle displayed sable surrounded by two wheels radiated gules [vert on the flag]. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed.

The eagle (águila) on a rock (peña) makes the arms canting.
