The municipality of Cervera de los Montes (509 inhabitants in 2018; 3,169 ha) is located 90 km west of Toledo and 15 km north of Talavera de la Reina.

The flag of Cervera de los Montes is prescribed by an Order issued on 13 July 2005 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 22 July 2005 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 146, p. 14,307 (text).
The flag is described as follows:
Flag: Rectangular panel, in proportions 2:3, with 14 wavy horizontal blue and white stripes, tierced green at hoist. On the division, the coat of arms of Cervera de los Montes in full colors, surmounted by the Royal crown.
The coat of arms of Cervera de los Montes is prescribed by an Order issued on 13 August 1998 by the Government of Castilla-La Mancha and published on 21 August 2005 in the official gazette of Castilla-La Mancha, No. 38, p. 6,462 (text).
The coat of arms is described as follows:
Coat of arms: Argent a holly oak eradicated over waves surrounded by two deers passant all proper. The shield surmounted by a Royal Spanish crown.
The Royal Academy of History validated the proposed coat of arms, although the use of heraldic tinctures for the charges would have been preferable to "proper".

The canting arms of Cervera de los Montes were inspired by a non-heraldic design featured in the book Cervera de los Montes by José Carlos Gómez-Menor. The shield represents two deers (ciervos) drinking water from a brook gushing forth from the base of a holly oak. A third deer and mountains (montes) appear in the background.
