Presentation of Capdepera

The municipality of Capdepera (11,267 inhabitants in 2017, 5,492 ha), located 80 km east of Palma de Mallorca, is the easternmost municipality in Majorca. The municipality is made of the settlements of Cala Rajada (6,124 inh.), Capdepera (3,220 inh.), Font de Sa Cala (252 inh.), Cala Gat (55 inh.), Cala Lliteras (696 inh.), Cala Mesquida (62 inh.), Canyamel (420 inh.), Es Carregador (61 inh.), Sa Pedruscada (214 inh.), Cala Provençals (122 inh.) and Son Moll (220 inh.).

Flag of Capdepera

The flag of Capdepera, as observed in May 2009 at the Town Hall, is horizontally divided green-white, superimposed by a bend in the colours of Catalonia (yellow with by four red bands). In the middle of the green field is a crown.
