The company was founded in Marstal by Jan Fabricius in 1984. It operates 22 cargo, reefer and container ships and one tug. The flag is white with two thin light blue stripes on the top and bottom and the light blue monogram of the company in the middle. This monogram is made of the interlaced geometrised letters "J" and "F".

The flag was white with blue cross patty in upper hoist and black initial "FB" in lower fly. The flag basically combines the blue pattern of Svitzer and the black one of FForenede Bugserselskab.
