Frickenhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a crozier Or in pale, superimposing a piece of vine plant Vert in fess with two leaves Vert above and two grapevines Or beneath.
Meaning:
Frickenhausen had been a strongly fortified market town of the Bishopric of Würzburg. It was given to the chapter of the cathedral in 1406. Since the early 16th century the hanging grapevines had been displayed on three twon seals. The crozier is symbolising the rule of the bishops. It was omitted in the 19th century seals but re-established in 1956.
