Huglfing Coat of Arms

Shield Argent a falcon rising Gules, base Azure charged with a sinister pointing Latin cross Argent in fess.
Meaning:
The falcon is taken from the family arms of the Roming kin from Huglfing , living in the village since the 14th century and since 1470 owners of Rameck Estate. The kin died out in 1650. The Augustine Convent of Polling became its successor, which had been an important local manorial lord since the 14th century. The convent is represented by the lying cross.
