Kammlach Coat of Arms

Shield Or a fess wavy Azure, over all a comb Sable in pale.
Meaning:
The comb, used for horses, is taken from the family arms of the Lords of Kammlach, who had been in service of the Lords of Mindelberg and had been first mentioned in 1277. The comb is known from a seal from 1334. Kammlach belonged to the Lordship of Mindelheim, ruled by the namesake lords until 1363. The owners of the lordship changed frequently. In 1467 it was acquired by the Knights of Frundsberg, represented by the tinctures black and golden, and 1586 by the Kirchberg-Weißenhorn line of the Counts of Fugger, represented by the tinctures blue and yellow. The fess wavy is representing the name giving little river.
