Rietheim-Weilheim Municipal Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Or three attires Sable in fess ordered per pale, at sinister Argent, parted by a demi-cross Gules couped per pale.
Meaning:
The attires, here dexter pointing, are a differentiation of the arms of Württemberg. The demi-cross is a differentiation of the arms of the Bishopric of Konstanz<7i>. Rietheim historically belonged to the Lordship of Lupfen, which became a part of Württemberg in 1444. Weilheim historically belonged to the Lordship of Konzenberg, which was sold to the provosts of Konstanz in 1300, where it remained until 1802. The cross is also alluding to St. George, the local patron saint.
