Neubeuern Coat of Arms

Shield Gules two boat hooks Argent issuant in saltire hafted Or.
Meaning:
Neubeuern had been a market town since 1393, nevertheless the town had no self-administration for a long time and thus no proper seals. The first seal is known from around 1740, an oval with circumscription, when the Counts of Preising-Hohenaschau acquired the town. It already displayed the current pattern. The hooks are alluding to shipping on the Inn River and the support of shipping by men and material from Neubeuern. The tinctures were fixed in 1862.
