Bühlertann Coat of Arms

Shield parted per pale, at dexter barry of four of Or and Sable, at sinister Argent, issuant from base Vert a fir Vert.
Since the 11th/12th century there existed Tannenburg Castle. The settlement beneath was first mentioned in 1228. Castle and settlement had been properties of the Imperial Abbey of Ellwangen of the Benedictine Order. Its name had been Tannberg. The fir (German: Tanne) is a canting element. The dexter half displays the arms of the provosts from the Thumb of Neuburg family.
