The shield is green with a blue base wavy; issuant from base a golden, embattled wall, masoned black with golden port; in chief two golden linden leaves, ordered per fess.
Meaning:
Base and wall are alluding to the fountain of Unstrut River, where baptisms took place since 531. Linden trees are the predominant species in the municipality.

Kefferhausen had 729 inhabitants in 2015 and covers 10.4 km². The municipality was first mentioned in 1146.
