It is a green-white-green vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the white stripe.

Bestensee Coat of Arms

Shield parted per bend sinister wavy, above right Or a chestnut leaf Vert, beneath Azure, a fish urinant in bend sinister.
Meaning:
The yellow colour is representing the sandy soils, the blue colour the many lakes. The leaf is representing chestnuts as local predominant species of trees. The fish is symbolising angling.
