Sailauf Coat of Arms

Shield Argent parted by a broad bend sinister Gules, charged on heart point with a 6-spokes wheel Or, above right a bend sinister wavy Azure, beneath left an oak leaf Vert in bend sinister with an annexed acorn of the same.
Meaning:
The golden wheel is a differentiation of the arms of the Archbishopric of Mainz, to which the whole area belonged since the 13th century. The basic tinctures red and white are also referring to the archbishopric. The blue bend sinister wavy is a representation of the Steinbach, a local creek. The oak twig is a representation of the Spessart, a forest.
