The previous flag of Swift Current depicted the old city seal on a white
field. Underneath the seal was a motto in a ribbon, reading "INTEGRITY PROGRESS
INDUSTRY". The seal depicts, in its center, an image of a trooper on horseback
by a stream, referencing the creek that flows through the area and its early
days. At the top of the inner section is text reading "INCORPORATED 1914" and
monograph reading its initials, "SC". The outer ring is in black, reading "CITY
OF SWIFT CURRENT SASKATCHEWAN", with dots dividing its province name as part of
the legend. There are two outer black outlines. All details are in black and
white.
