The Anizah Tribe

The Anizah originated in northern Arabia, particularly in the Nejd region. Today, they are spread across the Arabian Peninsula, Upper Mesopotamia, and the Levant, including Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain and also parts of North Africa. Their estimated population is around 10 million in their core area and maybe 22-25 million across the Arab diaspora, making them the first in importance.

Other transcriptions include 'Anazah, Aniza, Anaza, Anza, Anize, Aneza, Bani Aniza, Banu Anizah, ... They should not be confused with the Unaizah region in Qassim province.

The Anizah are Adnanite (northern) Arabs, descending from the Rabiaite branch.
Families ruling Saudi Arabia (House of Saud), Kuwait (Al-Sabah) and Bahrain (Al-Khalifa) trace ancestry to Anizah or its cousin tribes.

Flags used by the Anizah Tribe

While Anizah doesn’t have a standardized ancient flag, modern tribal banners sometimes feature the number 501 or B52, used as symbolic identifiers among youth in Saudi Arabia. These banners are informal and vary in style, often reflecting tribal pride more than historical symbolism.

This flags seems the more often used, with "aniza" written in white on red background.
