No flag

A dark burgundy colored flag, with a gold (or white?) octagonal seal, bearing a large letter black (or gold?) S, separating the central disk into two scenes, maritime above and rural below. The image at differs from that in image above, which presumably is one of the flags made in 2005, as outlined in the article. The original flag was made by Margaret Barker in the mid 1970's. The town seal on the flag also differs from the town seal used on official correspondence. The seal Barker sewed on the flag is octagonal, while the current seal is round and has leaves on the bottom. Though the drawings on the inside and the Stratham "S" are the same, the arrangement of the words are different on the newer emblem. The seal on Barker's flag was the one the town originally voted on at its bicentennial in 1966.
