The flag is made of a gradient field of greens on the bottom, and reds and yellows on the top. Sprinkled around the flag are a trio of pine trees, as they're a prominent type of tree in the region. In the center is the outline of the lake, featuring a few loons swimming in some areas of the lake. The start of the Maple River is shown at the bottom left near maple point and Pells island, which flows into neighboring Burt Lake. In the background is the sun rising near the Northern Fishtail Bay.
A drawing of the flag is featured in the Douglas Lake Associations merch list (p. 3): https://www.douglaslake.org/wp-content/media/DLCatalog2019-v6-20190901.pdf
