Flag is quartered, dark blue and white toward hoist, white and red toward fly, and overlain by a large deep yellow city seal, with black line illustration showing a tree with an M engraved on the trunk, an Indian below the word HISTORY, a railroad train below the word INDUSTRY, and a spraying airplane below the word AGRICULTURE.

"Marked Tree is a city in Poinsett County, Arkansas in the United States, along the St. Francis River, at the mouth of the Little River. The population was 2,800 at the 2000 census. It is included in the Jonesboro, Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area."
