The Moshnivs'ka Community (Мошнівська сільська громада)
is one of 26 communities in Cherkas'kyy County. It has about 460 km² with about 14'700 inhabitants.
It has 14 populated places. Its administrative seat is the Village of Moshny. The Community itself is using
the coat of arms of the Village of Moshny, probably with additional lettering (but I didn't find it), but
has its own flag and standard. The flag is yellow with the village coat of arms on it and the name
"MOSHNIVS'KA | GROMADA" in two rows below it.

The flag was adopted by the Village Council on 7.4.2004.
Square cloth; a crimson wedge extends from the upper corners to the middle of the lower edge, on it is a
yellow spear with the tip pointing up with a yellow flag, on which is a blue Cossack cross, on both sides
of the wedge – a yellow triangular field. The flag can be 1:1 or 2:3. The creator of the flag is
Andriy Grechilo.

Current coat of arms: The current coat of arms was adopted by the Village Council on 7.4.2004.
"In a red field in a sash on the right is a golden spear with the tip up, with a golden flag on which
is a blue Cossack (paw-shaped) cross." The spear reflects the historical role of
Moshny as a fortified
point on the path of enemy raids. Yellow (gold) color means rich lands, and crimson (red) is a symbol of
the struggle of Moshny against various invaders. Creator of the coat of arms is Andriy Grechilo.

Coat of arms of 1592: The Coat of arms was granted to the town and fortress of Moshny on 9.2.1592 –
a battle spear in a red shield.
Coat of arms of 1980's (?): In the 1980's a pin with supposed arms of Moshny appeared, but that might be
just a fantasy design. No way to prove.
