Yukos Oil Company (ОАО Нефтяна́я Компа́ния Ю́КОС) was
a major
petroleum company in Russia, driven into bankruptcy in 2006 after its
owner openly opposed the Putin administration. Its flag could be seen
in a Yahoo News photo (ephemeral url), and was white with its
logotype, a triangle diagonally zigzag-divided into three sections,
two green and the top one gold, lus the word Ю́КОС below in bold green
caps.
